Matt Maartens Safaris

Matthew Maartens was born and raised in Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa, and started hunting at a very young age. He has been fortunate enough to hunt in various areas across South Africa as well as the African continent.

These experiences and dealing with many different outfitters over the years, has allowed us, at Matt Maartens Safaris, to develop the amazing personalized safari that our clients experience and deserve.

We hunt a variety of species in all corners of the continent, nothing is too big or too small. Your safari can range from plains game hunting to dangerous game hunting. We cater to any and all hunting needs whether it be rifle, hand gun or bow hunting. At Matt Maartens Safaris, we work closely with Land Owners and Concession owners, allowing each of our hunts to be customized to the individual client.
